I couldn't be happier that this has finally come through.. my greatest fear was that Fluence would run out of money and not be able to fulfil its full potential... but with this project now underway, this provides a critical funding bridge that will enable the SPS business to continue focus on building its foundations, which as you also acknowledge, will take some more time before it really takes off.

Whilst I am annoyed that this was delayed... the fact that Fluence had to bring in the Italian export credit agency at the 11th hour shows that this is no ordinary management team... they are clearly punching above their weight and are well connected, I have no doubt Ron Lauder was pivotal in getting this deal over the line.

I am hoping that a nimble company like Fluence is able to navigate the next 24 months and come out of this pandemic a powerhouse... it has the tech, the funding ... and in my eyes, a very capable management team to achieve this.
