Usually a good announcement preceding a CR is not the receipt of a large sum of money. I doubt they could justify a CR after receiving such a large sum. FLC CR's have always been completed near lows on a downward trend (we have pretty much always been in a downward trend since that person you mention became involved). This notion of pumping before a CR has not been the case with FLC. It has been the opposite. Issue at 85. They sell down on market. Rinse, repeat a few times including most recently at 37 cents. Now the share price is 28 cents after those who most recently participated in a raise, again have almost certainly sold in the red, depressing the share price further... That part is not a conspiracy theory, it is what has happened to date. If the board and senior management is not complicit with this kind of activity, then they are incredibly incompetent. Not the kind of people who work for billionaires IMO. I suspect this is the reason Adam Hinckley left so quickly. He probably saw his job to increase value for all holders (as it should be)....not play games to benefit a few. I am not sure of the reason why the share price has been suppressed but I do know the price only matters on the day you sell and Lauder's time horizon is very long term; legacy. The question then becomes how does he benefit. Tax offsets through losses? CR to dilute others? Low price for a TO? The reason is anyone's guess. I strongly believe FLC has a bright future and the share price does not reflect fundamental performance to date. There have been good comparisons posted here with similar companies trading at 800m+. We have made progress. The share price has gone down. That is cause for consideration IMO and should not be labelled a conspiracy theory. This kind of thing happens all the time and the ASX will do nothing should something nefarious eventuate.
