The ASX release was definitely targeted directly at WEFTEC in the US, as the Fluence China release made no mention of Richard saying anything about the US market. The Chinese release highlights better that it is the largest worldwide installation for MABR, and also has some nice comments from WJY and Chen Xi.

When talking about this important achievement, Mr. Richard Irving, Chairman and CEO of Fluence, mentioned: “Flourance's MABR is very suitable to support the Cambodian government's promotion of higher sewage treatment standards. Our MABR solution has the lowest The cost and energy consumption provide high-quality treatment for large and small sewage plants. We are very pleased to join hands with X-WATER once again to work together for the construction of our third MABR large-scale sewage treatment plant in the country. We cooperated to complete The extraordinary performance of the two sewage treatment plants in China has attracted national attention. We are very pleased that X-WATER has reached a consensus with us and become our exclusive partner in the country. It is expected that future projects will be applied to MABR Aspiral sewage treatment System and SUBRE sewage treatment solution."

At the project signing site, Mr. Yang Wangzheng, CEO of Fluence Asia, said: “From 2020, Fluence successfully won the first sewage treatment plant in Westport, Cambodia, to the third one now, with a daily processing capacity from 5,000 tons to 20,000 tons. Fleurs’ actions have proved our team’s solid technical background and efficient teamwork. This third order is an affirmation of Fleurs’ past work and an assessment of Fles’s next work. Thank you very much to the Cambodian local government for your support. The long-term trust of Fluence and the full cooperation and support of its partner X-Water. In the days to come, the Fluence team will be bigger and better."

Speaking of the largest MABR sewage treatment plant in history, the Director of Engineering and R&D of Fluence is also the chief designer of these three sewage treatment plants. Mr. Chen Xi talked freely with pride in his expression: "2 years, 3 sewage treatment plants. In the treatment plant, under the envelope of this global epidemic, we continue to improve our technical and business level to ensure that the sewage treatment meets the discharge standards, does not affect the living environment of the surrounding people, and do our little effort to protect the environment."

PS3 had already made news in China in Sept in a few of the Cambodia/China business pages, but not sure how many water players would have taken much notice.

The line that i'm most interested in from the Chinese release is this:
These three sewage treatment plants will meet the sewage treatment requirements of Sihanoukville, Cambodia in the next 25 years, and lead Cambodia to an energy-efficient human settlement environment.
If these 3 Sihanuokville SUBRE plants are intended to last for the next 25 years, and they are the first biological treatment plants in Cambodia (no MBBR, no MBR, etc) then for the sake of simplicity and training for the wastewater treatment staff in Sihanoukville (and politicians), will all future wastewater treatment plants in the city also have to be MABR based? With being written into the Sihanoukville Vision 2038 Masterplan, and confirming X-Water as their exclusive partner for the whole of Cambodia, have Fluence got complete control of this market? I'm talking about Sihanoukville, more than the rest of Cambodia, but will be interested to see how far the influence of this can go throughout Cambodia (and its neighbouring countries), noting that JICA and the World Bank fund some other oxidation pond types of sewage treatment in other areas of Cambodia.
