The fact that FLC is treading water (get the pun? haha), would suggest to me that there is no big news imminent.

Everybody, myself included, would like to top up below the present/SPP price and can still buy at 44c (we hope), so why chase.

The issue to me is if peeps are betting on it falling post SPP.
I am not predicting that it will (or won't), merely that that is what usually occurs.

So for example, my MO is top up on a fall (some orders already placed), whilst risking FLC running prior to news and then facing the choice of chasing or not.

BTW, imo the FLC chart is easy to read, wait for volume and up-ticking indicators. Works every time, I've called it twice I think.

The obvious risk is that one F. Off contract sees a (say) 20+% jump with or without a TH.
No good to me if away from my computer.

Another game is to discourage retail applications in the SPP.

Keep the price down, potentially leaves more stock to be hoovered.
And if price falls post SPP there may be a few panic sells/stops hit.

It's a complicated game when group and individual psychology is involved.

Ultimately, as I'm a long-term investor I'm all in. So not too fussed.
Just want some trading parcels.

To answer you question specifically Xman, I guess instos are hoping for a huge run on IC.
Essentially, that's my game-just want 'em cheaper.
