    I don’t understand the “FLC was a tax loss for Ron” angle - nobody would purposely invest (or remain invested) in something that will lose them money in order to pay less tax (but still have less cash overall) - it doesn’t make sense? Yes it will be a tax loss now offsetting his other tax gains - but this can’t have been the original purpose?
