For a product to be a SPS, there must be a large enough of an addressable market. If there is enough justification, I am sure they will allocate research dollars to develop a product.

So, how many lithium miners can they sell a smart package to? How many modules does a mining site need? Compare to this: is there 400m of addressable rural residents in municipal China that Aspiral could address to rectify the fact that waste water is currently not treated? How big is the retrofit market that SUBRE could address globally?

We have an idea what the answer is from those questions. I rather FLC use their R&D funds wisely. Emefcy had to raise $42m over 8 years just to get a working MABR module. And that was even before they could commercialise it.
