The information provided on the FLC thread is top notch, not just with the acquisition of knowledge relative to FLC, but also the state of affairs on a global basis relating to politics, financing and the ability for the planet to sustain the human population with fresh water being the No. 1 necessity for survival!

A few reiterations from the thread (just a few of many that could be made)

writer - If you take out the personalised politics surrounding Climate Change, there is a global macro shift in investment attitudes at all levels - political, professional and retail.

It's a powerful thematic driven by vested interests at the highest levels of government and finance.

And it's just getting started.


ywtoh - I reproduced your comments above to emphasize something: this is huge. The 3G Group was commissioned by no less than Xi Jin Ping to undertake what you just described. Anybody who knows China knows this, if XJP wants the Yangtze basin cleaned up, it will be cleaned up. China is not India. The communist party knows it gets its legitimacy from getting things done to improve the lives of its people, the environment and advance the economy.

Relax1 - Fluence definitely punches above its weight. For a sub $190 million USD market cap company to have made a dent in China is quite an achievement, but this is a long game with lots of moving parts. Not necessarily advisable to have been along for this ride if you have a short term perspective or expect a get rich quick scheme, but something is being built in China which has long term potential.
