As there is no mention about this BOT contract involving MABR. However, I do believe the requirements and job descriptions point us towards the need for decentralization model and Aspirals is the most suitable for the job.

Heng County (Hengxian) in Guangxi measures 3,464 sq km. For argument sake, measures 58km by 58km. Comprises 15 towns and 2 villages. Total population about 1.2745m (average about 77,000 per township).

The contract is for 8 towns, treating 6400m3/d, and the length of the sewage pipe network is about 33.63 km.

Just a conjecture here.

With 33.63km of pipes for the project, with 8 towns, averaging 4.2km per town. It is hard to imagine there will be enough pipes to service a centralised WWTP. Which makes me belief that it has to be a decentralised project.

Each Aspiral L4 unit treats about 200m3/d. With the requirement of 6400m3/d, it will require an average of 32 L4 units or about 4 x L4 per town.

The plant covers an area of 40.98mu, which is about 27,320 sqm. Giving 3,400 sqm per plant. That sounds similar to the 800m3/d plant at Xilingang in Hunan.

Given this speculation, I believe it points toward an order of 32 Aspiral L4 units from FLC. From memory, they are about US$70,000 each which will be a revenue of $2.24m.

Tender date was 23/1/2020 and the award date was 6/3/2020. Not sure if this is included in the $25m expected sales in China for SPS.
