Yeah I'm probably a terrible investor but unlike a majority of Australians I've at least given thought to the following which puts me at a distinct advantage:
1. how much I'll need to have saved at retirement to maintain a comfortable life style
2. I know exactly how much I have saved
3. I know exactly how much I spend over a year.
PS: My cat also has a comfortable lifestyle.
