agree. why not.
last time I can remember any SP rally was on announce of buy back. and if the shares are undervalued here (company says so) using a small amount of debt to fund drilling in the future is not a bad move IMO. consolidate and buy back (not just to support one exiting large share holder - like the last one ... )
