I guess there must be a fee. I don't think its ridiculous. There would be an announcement and decisions what to with non divisible amounts. Say 15 shares. Do you get 1 or 2. Usually a share registry clean up is also done. Small holders maybe $100 or less have theres shares compulsory acquired.
