Some good insight into what is going on around the BRK position, with some nice titbits of relevant information. Nice to read Black Mesa is referred to as " a top regional operator" along with CLR.
Almost certainly BRK/ CLR were offered the acreage . Probably asking a bit more than what negotiations/ offers were, hence the open market sale process.
Will be interesting to see who picks it up, but if the buyer is a private entity, who they are and how much was paid will be hard to discover.
