I agree with you here...the two key words I took away from the announcement was 'execution certainty' and 'advanced stage'.. indicates to me that they want to get deal underway.. The other thing I took away was $12m shares in HRZ I think FML views this favorably... it still gives them upside from coolgardie development as you have indicated.
The other take is that Hanking bid was opportunistic.. while JP and team probably had many discussions with FML geology team and I suspect that they must have some clue on HRZ plans for developing the Coolgardie asset.
Clearly these unsolicited bids are posing massive distraction for FML.. after that announcement hanking must be somewhat discouraged in lobbing another unsolicited bid...
