I call it management selling control which they needed to do because they have burnt through all the cash and could not keep the operation going cash flow positive.
You also talking about SP being bidded up today, you have been around long enough to know that one days price action does not mean much at all, if it gets sold down tomorrow will you change your tune and say the professionals do not like the deal now???
Things might work out and I hope they do for you from here, but there are better gold stocks to invest capital in IMHO
