    So a counter offer came through from an undisclosed 3rd party....ok, and? We had to up our offer price....shite happens.

    How about moving things TF along FML? We're dealing with Chinese here - wouldn't be surprised if the counter offer was the the Chinese themselves (sounds crazy but hey).
