Recently the Ambani's group bought out a minority shareholding by SBI in their Jio Payments Bank for MV of of INR 500cr. So the Payment Bank business alone adds significant value to Findi.
There are a few existing players in the PA-PG business, such as Razorpay, Paytm Gateway, CCAvenue, PayU, Instamojo and MobiKwik. They collect about 1.75-3.5% of the transaction value.
Typically the RBI promote vertical integration in financial services, customers prefer that as well.
