There is a big difference between growing your own plant for recreational purposes and growing a commercial crop suitable for medicinal purposes.
Also, it's not about everything being perfect. It's about having things setup as optimal as possible. The average humidity would take into account everything you mentioned (rain etc.), that's why it's the average... 70% in summer is still far above optimal. Do you want to hazard a guess for the average humidity in Mildura in Summer?
I've researched enough about this industry to know that I can hold my own when it comes to these sort of debates. Does your hands-on experience cover growing a commercial crop of medicinal cannabis?
