Why do you expect an update on Careline sales? Is it just gut feel or something tangible? The ethanol based disinfectant was due to start production by the 3rd April, it is now the 8th and we still haven't heard anything around this new product, its production, or sales. Nor have we heard about April orders for hand sanitizer which if they are through the roof as you say are material and the company is required under listing rules to update the market.
Yes, the newly launched Domestic Sanitizer business has strong potential given sales as of March 20th being $3.8mln. To date, management has not provided the market with any profit margin data for the hand sanitizer product line. Therefore raising the following concerns; - Management has not shown any success in running a profitable juice business, therefore how can we expect them to generate profits from this new product line. - The hand sanitizer product is white labelled by Careline. White labelled products receive a lower margin, especially as Careline are operating as a middle man as opposed to an end retailer. Careline will be clipping margin on every single bottle of hand sanitizer sold, thereby reducing FOD’s potential profit margin.
There is absolutely no evidence that FOD is generating a profit in either the beverage or sanitizer business even if sales are "going through the roof".
