It is normal practice to spend money (even if it is a part of your wages) and then claim it back as part of the R & D tax deductions so I assume that $500,000 for IP would relate to that, as part of developing the shots and other items. It will be checked and adjusted up/down by the auditor in months to come based on being able to prove and justify those claims.
