I've got a pretty good understanding of the performance of the business too, I come from a background where OEE in the 90%s was normal and net profit margins where upward of 30% - that's right net profit margins !
FOD has some big opportunities in cost efficiency by reigning in production optimisation benefits and driving up OEE, I think they previously identified an easy $500k to $1m in cost reduction in that space, and had earmarked $500k of the December cap raise to an ERP system and further production automation. Of course cost reduction is finite, but none the less you don't shy away from it. I actually offered up some similar suggestions to Tony over 12 months ago.
It is in fact some of these things once addressed that allow the company to be viewed in a Price to Sales context the same as its sector peers, 7c is a baseline btw once they show themselves to be a proper and serious business.
So there's the production and fulfilment side of the business operations, which is relatively easy to whip into shape using basic LEAN principles, but it is the constant "promise cycle" of the Sales and Marketing side that concerns me the most, did you actually read that other post this morning about the 2015 strategy ? If not, go back and find it, it might have you double guessing your mindset.
The one update I'd like to hear about is the independent Board members being appointed and the review of the Board Member roles and responsibilities, or has everyone forgotten about that ?
