Yeah basically. Though you can have large epithermal deposits.
A porphyry is a specific type of intrusion with disseminated mineralisation. Epithermal deposits form from fluids from the intrusion, going up faults and fractures and mixing with groundwater. And skarn is an intrusion/fluid interacting with limestone. Here's a summary from GA.
These things are zoned from the intrusion, which is why IVR in the announcement has the circles around the porphyry for target areas for different types of mineralisation.
