The final dividend for 2017 paid in October 2017 was 20c. The share price by early 2018 was over $6. 2017/18 was not a good year, then there were the Covid years. With the prospect of say a final 30c dividend (40c NZ for the full year) and good ongoing earnings, I think there’s a real chance of all time highs in the not too distant future. Just my take on this. The 50c capital repayment may drop the price a bit later this month, but maybe not given the prospect of a very healthy dividend.
