Apart from a lower Li content in the majority of cases, it also has impurities and is a higher cost to extract. Not what people want.

Anyway, table 2 of the link in my previous post provides a summary of the general grades you see- see link below. But going back to the announcement I think what they are saying is while they have lepidolite at surface they feel below surface will be pegmatite based on some of the outcrops they have seen. They need to drill this and the market response doesn't surprise me here. I am a non-holder by the way. All IMO
