ERROR IN PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Chairman's Review in the Preliminary Announcement for NZ Windfarms
Limited released on 28 February 2012 contained an error in the Outlook.
The outlook said that based on our current forecasts we expect a profit
before depreciation, amortisation and tax of approximately $4.43m for the
whole financial year (2011 - loss of $0.63m). Including depreciation,
amortisation and tax the forecast loss for the whole financial year is $0.43m
(2011 - loss of $3.38m).
The $4.43m forecast is incorrect as it is the full year forecast before
interest income, interest expense, depreciation, amortisation and tax. The
forecast net interest expense is $0.53m; hence we expect a profit
before depreciation, amortisation and tax of approximately $3.90m for the
full year.
The full year forecast including depreciation, amortisation and tax the
forecast loss for the whole financial year of $0.43m is unchanged (2011 -
loss of $3.38m).
