SLI Systems Trading Update and Forecast
SLI forecasts full-year operating revenue for FY2015 to rise 27% to $28
million; slower Annualised Recurring Revenue growth expected in FY2015 second
half compared to first half.
CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand - 28 April, 2015 - SLI Systems (NZX.SLI) expects
2015 annual operating revenue for the year to 30 June 2015 to rise by 27% to
$28 million, from the $22 million achieved in 2014. SLI will report its
financial results for the year to 30 June 2015 in late August 2015.
Annualised Recurring Revenue growth in the second half of the 2015 financial
year is expected to be slower than in the first half. This result differs
from the company's February guidance for stronger second half growth. The
change stems from a shortfall in American sales due to a sales team
reorganisation, following the company's transition to new sales leadership,
along with weakness in the Brazilian economy.
SLI Systems Chief Executive Officer Shaun Ryan says: "The transformation of
our sales organisation to drive scaled growth has come at the expense of
short-term performance. With the appointment of a new Chief Revenue Officer
and increased sales disciplines we remain confident of returning to more
aggressive growth in the near future. Weakness in the Brazilian economy and
the softening Real have further contributed to this shortfall.
