This is worst case assuming everyone who bought during this period didn't sell in the same period which we know in GS's case is not true. The claim is also not against the price on the downgrade day but what the price ought to have been should the market have been informed when the company knew. Thus the exaggerated fall is not reflective of the where the SP should be as FireBull tried to point out last night. So the claim will be reduced again by this factor.
