There was a demand for lithium long before electric cars came on the market. Everything from electric toothbrushes, gardening tools, power tools, medical, cosmetics etc. I could go on but people on here are busy and wouldn’t have the time to read it. All we need is for someone to invent a lithium bomb then things will take off.
