Sorry, but the board is not the problem - the board is full of highly regarded people with strong PNG experience and connections. The biggest immediate problem is the out of control COVID spread in PNG and the very low vaccination rates. Until the islanders and GPR staff are fully vaccinated, the project pace will be constrained. I was assured that finance was due by the end of March, and here we are 2 months later ....
Until this project is near complete, and assuming the POG remains strong, and there's no market crash, there are no catalysts for a SP re-rate.
Other well credentialed gold companies are struggling to regain SP momentum, and no amount of "marketing" will make the difference in the interim!
Until GPR's planets align, the SP will not recover. So, bottom drawer or big tax loss sell, that's the choice for now.
