LOL love the banter about donations. We too like to donate either individually or to an organisation where we can actually see the funds being put to good use. Eg Blazeaid and the CWA. Saw an Australian Story a number of years ago where a prominent reporter was covering a story in Africa near a village where he was sponsoring a young girl. He had been doing it for a number of years and thought he’d pop over to the village and see how his funds were being put to use. He found the young girl and her family and even though he’d been sent pictures and stories about how much his donations were helping the family, they were completely unaware that they were sponsored and the only thing that the girl had that few other kids had, was a cardigan. The reporter appeared to leave the program a short time later. Probably coincidental ? Re AMC..... I just wish I had seized the opportunity to pick up more when that US company did some scaremongering and significantly shorted AMC.
