I believe that education is the best way out of poverty, this gives the young ones a chance to improve their lives. Some years ago I encouraged and helped a couple of families in Thailand to educate their girls to get a University education. Its best to know the people you're helping as you see the results. I do know the families well so I feel quiet proud knowing all 4 now have a University degree and have reasonably good jobs. ( Two of them could've studied a bit harder ).
Too much money is given to charities where the results are poor, the money mostly gets spent on wages and luxury accommodation and business class flights.
Getting back onto the AMC track, after selling out some time ago I still keep an eye on Amcor since its one of my favourites. When looking at the current Amcor share price its one of the few good stocks thats undervalued and a buy.
I would like it to drop a bit lower first, its always easier to make a profit if you get in on the low side.
