I don’t agree that not providing investors with your best estimate of expected FDA approval is the way to manage expectations when there are clear rules on timeframes from FDA. The clarity JC has provided since taking over gave everyone, shareholders and company employees included, the confidence to manage expectations and invest accordingly. The only issue I have with this latest announcement is the abrupt and partial nature of it. I grant it is likely the news came in late on weekend or early Monday and not enough time was allowed during business hours to prepare a statement. However, I fully expect JC to make a statement after he has had a chance to digest the consequences. I am sure a reporter will have or plans to request more information from Avita to identify the actual questions asked by the FDA. Anything short of this in the coming days and I may have to reconsider my judgement of JC as a CEO. I fully expect all information positive and negative to be disclosed to investors and clearly there is more information, potentially price sensitive, that is currently available that investors do not have and should be granted.
