Climate
Senegal's humid rainy season falls between June and September-October in Casamance and the south - and some of the national parks may be closed during this period. The dry season, which runs from December to April, sees Harmattan winds wheezing down from the Sahara, and temperatures can drop severely in the evenings. Average maximum temperatures for Dakar are 26-27C in the dry season and 31-32C during the rains; 31-35C and 30-33C in Ziguinchor.
IMO other gold stocks that may enable a comparison to BSR I can suggest Mako . you may get some information from the Mako project which is presently progressing to production. It's situated relatively close to the south west of Bassari in the National Park area with a number of environmental challenges to overcome .IMO it's somewhat different to BSR as its gold is much more difficult to extract & costly to produce per ounce.
It's worth a read.
On the subject of wet seasons from my experience was it's not the damage to BSR assets it's the damage to the roads systems, mainly the national highway which goes from Dakar to Mali . My experience was in November after the season had finished the highway suffered many washouts for the last 200km just before it enters the country of Mali ( mainly in the National Park section.)
We have in the past suffered a little damage to the spillway system of our storage dam
