Because share price now is not the only factor investors should consider in voting management remuneration. I will ultimately judge these guys on the share price in a few years and I am confident (or at least optimistic) that the milestones they’ve completed and are currently completing should increase the share price, materially.

Meanwhile they should be incentivised to keep hitting those milestones now and over the next critical 12 months. But at the end of the day that is a personal judgement and one of the reason why investing is difficult but lucrative if you get it right.
