Not sure what the flaming whip is about, but I’ll take it as a prompt to respond to Eyeswideopen.
The energy storage systems I’ve worked on state a 20 year design life for the batteries, with >70% capacity rating after 20 years. The proof will be in the pudding of course, but battery life and capacity is a key focus for the big battery manufacturers and things will only improve from here.
