Hi moosey,
The Oak Dam, Oak Dam East and Oak Dam West deposits are all pretty typical of the other significant known IOCG mineralised systems in the Gawler Craton area, such as Carrapateena, Olympic Dam, Prominent Hill etc. Here is a link to an interesting report from the PorterGeo Database:
http://www.portergeo.com.au/database/mineinfo.asp?mineid=mn1400
In this report there are also some interesting links to the Olympic IOCG Province and Carrapateena records, which contain a good summary of the tectonic, geologic and geophysical setting of these deposits.
Best regards,
