I think the thing is blox that there wasn't a great deal that was *news* in the announcement. That it happened today as opposed to some other day makes the timing slightly newsy. That it was exactly a billion not some other number. But that FMG was going to reduce its debt from its free cash flow which was high because the io price is so high (compared to its breakeven cost) was not news or at least should not have been news to anyone with more than a passing interest in FMG.
