I find it highly irregular that a CEO would be talking about company values and culture as a reason or justification for their departure when they actually resigned instead of being sacked. Maybe they thought they were going to be sacked and got the jump on management, which also plays into comments already made here that the CEO should have been more aware of the goings on, which would precipitate this outcome.....!
But hey maybe that's just me.........
