They have already secured debt SPECIFICALLY for FFI whilst they are all under the same FMG umbrella, so don't understand your point.
FFI can (and probably already is) a separate legal entity that can take on its own debt.
If some of the financiers are short sighted enough to look only at companies that are purely not impacting the environment at all just yet, they will never lend any money to anyway, and there will be plenty of others who would want their names to be attached to helping FMG become carbon neutral by 2030 (and I expect them to deliver this) and creating significant environmental benefits through FFI aside from the IO operations.
