Something I've been thinking about....
We know that the Barrick and Chesser land belongs together. There are obvious synergies in building a plant. So if Barrick was going to develop a plant they would obviously want Chesser. But even if they didn't end up building a plant wouldn't they still want Chesser to sell in conjunction with their current holdings? For this reason, I think the land is worth a lot more to Barrick than it is to Fortuna.
Some have dismissed the idea that Barrick will also have a go at Chesser. Personally I think there is a good reason they might.
