GEIC - the only benefit it has provided is having a decent lab for FGR to work in. It hasn't resulted in the significant fast tracked graphene infused products that they pitch to companies.

Now you are upsetting me. Feeding my displeasure about scientists being default entrepreneurs.

Its all about the Thesis and publishing. They hate it, but private money should have a large degree of input before they go off counting dots on butterfly wings. If they don't sign onto that idea, then fund elsewhere. They are the furtherest away from commercial reality regardless of their age.
I believe that at the birth of FGR significant understanding of what they were funding was absent for a long time.
