Luxury brands do not have cheap factory outlets that sell to 3rd parties.
Cettire gets all its inventory from faux customers of the luxury brands that are disengenously not selling to real customers. This is the loophole that brands are closing as they audit these customers.
This business has a broken model and unless they get Gucci to sell to them directly (which they won't) they are finished.
Fresh from the IPO, the founder has shown how much he believes in the business and has so much left to sell down - it's over.
My bet is the next announcement will be we're bringing Crypto or Web3 to luxury fashion.
