My precious metals porfolio is up 4X since 2016, when I bought Newmarket Feb 2016 for US$1.22/sh (OTC NMKTF). At one point, I held the majority of long-dated KL calls on the NYSE. Sold everything KL way early, at US$23/sh, when Eric Sprott started to. But put it into Wesome at C$2, out between $C14-15.

#7 in the 2019 CEO.CA stock picking contest, in the category where all three were winners. All my 2020 picks were winners also. Again, most of what I've posted above is verifiable on CEO.CA.

I'll be the first to admit, luck beats skill LOL.

I lost on SGI, yup! Biggest dollar volume loss to date. But made it back, plus 60%, on AEM (Agnico Eagle NYSE) calls since, bought between US$38/sh - US$42/sh, and recently sold at US$61/sh. So more a learning experience than any kind of problem.
