    re: Ann: Four Mile Project - Garrett decision... Alliance has been advised by Quasar Resources Pty Ltd that proceedings have been commenced in
    the Federal Court of Australia (Sydney Registry) by Alan Oshlack of the Indigenous Justice Advocacy
    Network seeking a review of Federal Minister Peter Garrett’s decision in July 2009 to grant
    environmental approval for the Four Mile Project. Neither Alliance nor Quasar are party to these
    proceedings.
    Alliance understands that the standing of Mr Oshlack to bring the proceedings was raised at the
    directions hearing on 7 December.
    A further directions hearing has been scheduled for 23 December 2009.
