You can't help wondering whether the announcement is more for HG/Q's attention than to advise shareholders of what's going on. It looks like that classic r/e agent strategy: to get two parties competing for the coveted asset.
If HG don't want to share the U with Itochu I'd suspect that they'll have to act before the sales judgement. Or will they gamble on us losing in the supreme court and Itochu not exercising its rights?
Also takes some heat off the directors before the AGM, I'd think.
