- Cash costs down to $353/oz from $412/oz (-14%); for an overall cash cost for 2008 of $400/oz (+33% from 2007)
- Equigold mine production encouraging
- Million ounce plant upgrade for Lihir Island is on schedule
- Ballarat production well below expectations
- Bonriko ore grade well above plan at 2.28g/t
- Average Cash price $/oz = 792 down from 847 in the Sept quarter (-7%)
- Remainder of the hedge book = 115,797 oz to be delivered quarterly at A$600 over the period to Sept 2010.
