Woodside will most likely close in the green this afternoon,
The usual sell the news took place earlier, but the stock is bid back up.
Most importantly, the revision on previous non cash losses are sound -
Next quarter results will be even higher with oil price now averaging $80+ - bottom line profits will be significant.
The news around China selling spot cargo is bit of a bummer - unusual and possibly way to dampen the market. Who knows..... but keep an eye out on forward pricing
But considering 83% of the volume is sold on contract against Oil prices, it shouldn't matter much -
