"Woodside’s full-year 2025 capital expenditure guidance is $4.5 - 5.0 billion, this excludes the impact of any subsequent asset sell-downs, future acquisitions or other equity changes. It also excludes Louisiana LNG expenditure.

Total Louisiana LNG expenditure from December 2024 to end of the first quarter 2025 is forecast to be up to $1.3 billion, which is included in the overall estimated cost for the foundation development".

Although FID set for end of Q1 2025, theres no way this project isn't going to be approved. Sinking $1.3b USD of capex in Q1 FY25 to not approve the project would be disasterous for management + board. Just the final structure of the JV and design of the plant to be finalised? Currently LNG is 40% of the portfolio but after Scarborough and Louisanna LNG going to be a very large portion of production (even after Trion adds in oil).
