Hi,

I am a materials engineer. I have done my first degree thesis on carbon nanotubes and I am a strong believer of the miracles this stuff can do and that's why I have been an holder.
However when I moved from the R&D world to the "real" world I realized how things really go in the building industry:
- most of the constructions company make a big share of their revenues by fixing things so it's against their interest to use or recommend something that lasts longer
- they make a cut on the materials they use so it's better to use more cheap material then less expensive one
- they are risk adverse and they rather use standardized products that they have been using for decades and they know how they perform rather then experiment new materials

I think the lack of sales is a cultural issue and has nothing to do with the company profile and the quality of the product.
