While I agree with some that the announcement is a little vague in the sense it doesn't give us clear guidance about how the trial is really going, my final interpretation is similar to Blane and Smokey - I interpreted this to mean the trial is going well. The way I figure it is that there is little point in expanding the number of trial sites if patient 6 went worse than expected, which they would definitely know by now. Also agree with Blane that the "dosing is proceeding well" implies patient 7 and 8 have probably been dosed. I finally had the guts to buy more today. I've been thinking about it for a while at these prices, but this announcement made me think it was worth the punt.
