Got a call from an Eramet representative this afternoon feeling me out as to my attitude towards Eramets "Final" offer. Advised him that I was looking for an Offer of $2 or more but if the big boys jumped ship and 50% looked like being hit I would also join the exodus.
It is interesting that the share price is not exceeding $1.75 in the market unlike when the $1.46 Offer presented itself. Perhaps if the large holders want to hold out they should consider soaking up shares up to their ask price.
Best for all parties would be for any alternate suitors to table their Offers as early as possible. Despite comments from both Eramet and MDL it is difficult to imagine a stable relationship going forward should the status quo be maintained.
